The Ministry Of Reconciliation

2 Corinthians 5:18-21
Reconciliation gives us hope because the hostility has ended in Christ. Now, those who are in Christ are no longer enemies of God, but His adopted children. Therefore, We need to step out wherever God has placed us to be as His agents of reconciliation and salvation, to all who cross our path on a regular basis.

Guard Your Heart

For the followers of Jesus "the heart" is a very important topic; it is obvious from the amount of times it is mentioned in the Bible. King Solomon understood this very important principle, thats why he is given instruction to God's children to guard their heart above all else. As a healthy heart is essential to the physical life on earth, the spiritual heart determines both the character of life on earth as well as the destiny of life after physical death.

Longing To Be In God's Presence

It is part of human nature to look for something that gives meaning to life. King David, despite the many serious issues he struggled with in life, learned that the most desirable and meaningful place to be was in God's presence, where he would find the strength and spiritual stamina he needed to overcome those trying situations.

The Reward Of Courageous Faith

Courageous faith moves from desperation to trust in Jesus. We may continue to live in our misery and passively waiting for something to happen. Yet the truth is that nothing will change in us until we take the resolution to step out in faith and take uncomfortable, challenging action that will bring to Jesus' feet. (Luke 5:12-16)

Seeking God's Direction In Difficult Times

King to be, David was facing a critical moment in his ascension to kingship. In 2 Samuel 23, we find David being unrelentlessly  pursued by Saul, and is forced to make a crucial decision that might puts not his own life at risk, but also the lives of his men. Listen to this week's message to know how to seek God through the difficult decisions we need to make.

The Floodings Of Favour

The Floodings Of Favour

What does it mean when we use the term "favour" ? We can easily confuse God's  favour on our life to be situational and conditioned to the current circumstance of our life. When things go well, we assume God's favour is on our life, and when things go bad, we assume that it isn't.  This week,  in light of the floods that are happening in Montreal, there's no better character to learn favour from than Noah.

A Deeper Life: Part 1
