THREE COMMANDS FOR AN UNSHAKABLE FAITH (Part 2)

Three Commands For An Unshakeable Faith (Part 2)
Pastor Mario Catalano (14/10/2018)
Rejoice always.jpg

The command of the apostle Paul to “pray without ceasing” should be considered not an obligation but a privilege. God is the ultimate source of everything, who is loving, good, holy, wise and truthful. When the Christian believer is praying through the merit of Jesus, he has a privileged access to God’s power and blessings. Therefore, prayer shouldn't be one among many things we try to do during the day, but the cover under which we live our lives.

Three Commands For An Unshakeable Faith (Part 1)
Pastor Mario Catalano (September 30, 2018)
Title 1.jpg

This is the first of three messages based on the commands the apostle Paul gives to the Thessalonians as he writes to them his first epistle. He exhorts them to rejoice, to pray, and to give thanks. Obedience to those commands can help us to grow in our faith to the point of becoming unshakable.

Christian joy is based on Jesus’ finished work at Calvary. It is an attitude we develop as we respond to all God has done for us in and through Christ.

God Deserves Our Best!

God Deserves Our Best!
Pastor Mario Catalano (September 16,2018)
Image-1.jpg

In Malachi’s day, worship was the culmination of a convenient faith. Why? Because he lived in a time where the people of God confused worship for self-righteousness and spiritual disenchantment. God’s solution to their apathy was to refine them as a blacksmith would refine silver (redemption) and gold (tried faith). His refining process teaches us a very important principle: whatever we do for the Lord, it ought to be our very best at all times.

"Finding Rest In Jesus" Part 2 of the series "How To Overcome Emotional Pain"

"Finding Rest In Jesus" Part 2 of the series "How To Overcome Emotional Pain"
Pastor Mario Catalano (September 9, 2018)
FINDING REST IN JESUS' YOKE.jpg

Jesus invites us to bring our weary hearts to Him. Being Himself “a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief” He can empathize with our emotional distress and pain. Jesus can offer and give rest to “all who labor and are heavy laden.” As we accept His invitation and we start to live under His yoke, He will turn our hurts into rest for our souls.

MAINTAINING AN ACTIVE FAITH IN THE MIDST OF DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES

Maintaining An Active Faith In The Midst Of Difficult Circumstances
Rev. Allan Hack (August 26, 2018)
Image-2.jpg

Maintaining an active faith in the middle of life challenges is not always easy.  There is no easy, magical solution.  Claiming God’s promises in His Word, calling out to Him in prayer, seeking counsel from friends is very important; but in the end, you must decide whether to trust God or not to trust Him.

Purposely Created In Christ (Part 3)
Pastor Mario Catalano (August 5, 2018)

God wants us to recognize that the reason why He created us in Christ is that we may reach our final destination to spend eternity with me through fulfilling the good works He prepared for us beforehand the creation of the world.

Pastor Mario Catalano (July 29, 2018)

Christianity cannot be reduced only at a moral program for living. The Biblical definition of "good works" is not merely doing “something good”. Biblical "good works" encompass every aspect of our thinking and conduct before God.

A Call To Discipleship: Part 2

A Call To Discipleship (Part 2)
Pastor Mario Catalano

As Christians, we are called to a life of not only believing in who Jesus is, but to increasingly deepen our likeness to who He is. In the modern world of Christianity, there is this increasing struggle of being satisfied with a community filled with converts who place theoretical faith in God, without the life changing power to pursue the cost of being a disciple. In this series, our Lead Pastor explores the call of discipleship, and what it really means to follow Jesus.

The Power Of His Resurrection

The Power Of HIs Resurrection
Pastor Mario Catalano

The resurrection, like the cross, is one of the great and central facts of Christian faith; both are the expression of the one saving grace. The celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, may be considered the most beautiful, joyous holy day of the Christian faith

On His Journey

On His Journey
Jonathan Catalano

This weekend, our community is celebrating five people being baptized and choosing to declare their faith in Jesus  publicly! We believe that as a church, our responsibility is to journey alongside people, no matter where they come from, or what they did! Saul was a man infamously known to the early church as this terrorizing figure which persecuted the church... and yet, he was God's chosen instrument to build the church he was trying to destroy. Thankfully, a man called Barnabas was willing to walk alongside Saul's journey, and recognize that God was at work in his life. Learn three ways you can walk alongside people on their journey.

A Revolutionary Way To Greatness

A Revolutionary Way To Greatness
Pastor Mario Catalano

Jesus is the Messiah, the anointed One, whom all power belongs, yet He taught us a revolutionary way to greatness. He came on earth not be to be served, but to serve. His authority and leadership was shown by being the example of servanthood. Also, He is the servant who empowers us to serve in His name, so that we might be able to serve others in His divine power.

Without Invitation

Have you ever felt excluded, forgotten about or left behind from something great that was happening? Have you ever prayed that God would open a door for you and felt like He never answered? This week, we look at the BUILDUP before the BATTLE between David and Goliath, and how David's brothers were on the battle field while he was taking care of sheep. But with God, sometimes, all it takes is willingness and obedience to deliver bread and cheese, so that we can end up where we would have never imagined possible.

When Blindness Doesn't Stop You From Seeing

WHEN BLINDNESS DOESN'T STOP YOU FROM SEEING.jpeg
When Blindness Doesn't Stop You From Seeing
Pastor Mario Catalano

Some of the most meaningful moments will happen in our life when we are completely alone with God. It is only in His holy presence and through His compassionate, loving care that we may experience His healing touch. We need Him to touch the eyes of our hearts, so we can see Him more clearly once again.

(Mark 8:22-26)
